Land, sea or air - any option you choose is a good way to get to Croatia. Rail connections offer direct or transfer connections with almost all European countries. Croatian highways, whether you travel by bus or your own car, are newly built, fast and modern. Its shores are open the whole year via a ferry service from Italy. There are nine international airports across the country which are connected with major European cities, especially during the summer season.
It does not matter how you travel, as long as you come to Croatia!

During the summer season, you can also come directly to the island of Brač by plane. The airport is located 15 km from Bol and about 30 km from Supetar.

Useful information for drivers:
- To drive in the Republic of Croatia, you need: valid driver's license, traffic license and green card as proof of car insurance.
- Traffic rules in the Republic of Croatia:
- Drive on the right side of the road.
- Max allowed speed in settlements is 50 km/h (unless otherwise stated by road signs).
- Max allowed speed outside populated areas is 80 km/h (unless otherwise indicated by traffic signs).
- Max allowed speed on highways is 130 km/h.
- The maximum permissible amount of alcohol in the blood is 0.5 ‰.

Petrol stations on main roads work 0-24 hours, and in settlements from 7 am to 7 pm hours, (in the summer months until 10 p.m.).
Regular international connections connect Croatia with Slovenia, Austria, Italy, Hungary, Germany, France and many other European countries. Bus stations with international traffic are located in all major cities, and you can easily reach all smaller towns in Croatia with the national network of bus lines.

Croatia is very well connected by direct railway lines to Slovenia, Hungary, Italy, Austria, Switzerland, Slovakia, France, Germany, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia and Montenegro, while it is connected to other European countries by indirect railway connections. Fast and local trains run on Croatian railways, and there are also EuroCity and InterCity railway lines on the following routes:
